Legal Cloud Cabinet ("we", "our", "us") values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our services.
We use your data to:
We do not sell or rent your information. We may share data:
Your data is stored in secure servers with encryption at rest and in transit. We implement industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, disclosure, or alteration. You are responsible for securing your login credentials.
Connecting Google Calendar is optional. If a lawyer chooses to connect it, Legal Cloud Cabinet requests only the
calendar.events.owned permission (events on calendars the user owns) and the user's Google account email address.
What we access: the user's email address, and the calendar events that Legal Cloud Cabinet itself creates for that user's court hearings. We do not read, list or change any other events or calendars.
How we use it: only to add court hearing dates to the user's own Google Calendar, move those events when a hearing date changes, and remove them when a hearing is deleted, so the lawyer gets reminders. If the hearing record says so, the firm's client may be added as a guest on that event.
Sharing: we do not sell, rent or share Google user data with anyone, including advertisers or data brokers, and we do not use it for advertising, credit or lending decisions, or to train AI or machine learning models.
Artificial intelligence: Google user data is never sent to any artificial intelligence or machine learning service, and is never used to create, train or improve any AI/ML model, by us or by any third party. Our AI drafting, review and research features process only information you enter or upload in Legal Cloud Cabinet, and have no access to data obtained from Google.
Protection: the access tokens Google issues are stored on our secured servers, are accessible only to the application, and are sent only over encrypted (HTTPS) connections to Google.
Retention and deletion: we keep only the access tokens and the IDs of events we created, for as long as the calendar stays connected. When the user clicks Disconnect on their dashboard, we remove the hearing events we created from their calendar, revoke our access with Google, and delete the tokens and event IDs straight away. Users can also revoke access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, or email us to delete their data.
Legal Cloud Cabinet's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You may access your personal data, request corrections, or deletion. You can request deletion of your account and data (subject to legal retention requirements).
Our services are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy. Changes take effect immediately upon posting. Continued use of our services implies acceptance.
